2 xContainers of 70% Black GMT Pallets Shipped to Peru
Project Background
Our Peru customer is a concrete block producer that had been using wooden pallets in daily production. At the beginning, wooden boards seemed to be a low-cost option, but after long-term use they could no longer meet the factory’s production needs. The customer then started looking for a more durable block machine pallet solution.
Customer’s Main Problems
1. Wooden pallets absorbed water easily
The customer’s production environment is humid, and the wooden pallets were often exposed to fresh concrete and daily curing conditions. Over time, the boards absorbed water, became heavier, and lost stability during production.
2. The boards cracked and bent during use
Under repeated vibration and loading, the wooden pallets became more likely to crack, bend, and deform. This affected pallet performance and reduced stability during concrete block production.
3. Service life was too short
Because wooden pallets wore out quickly, the customer had to replace them more often than expected. This increased pallet consumption and made it difficult to maintain long-term stable production.
4. Frequent replacement increased production cost
Although wooden pallets seemed cheaper at the beginning, repeated replacement created extra cost and unnecessary interruptions in the workshop. The customer wanted a more reliable pallet solution for long-term use.
Our Solution
After confirming the pallet size, production conditions, and the customer’s need for a longer-lasting board, we recommended our 70% black fiberglass GMT pallet in 1400×700×32mm.
This pallet for block machine production offers better rigidity, lower water absorption, and a longer service life than traditional wooden boards. It is a more reliable choice for factories that need stable daily concrete block production.
Order Confirmation
After reviewing the recommended specification and understanding the performance difference between wooden boards and GMT pallets, the customer decided to move forward with our solution. The final order was confirmed for 2 containers.
Loading and Shipment
Production was completed on schedule, and the full order was loaded into 2 containers for shipment to Peru. This order marks the customer’s upgrade from wooden pallets to a stronger fiberglass pallet solution for long-term use.
